I have some ship and drone icons missing. Even after a fresh reinsall of windows and EVE (it wasn't to try to fix this problem). Cleared cache a fews times, no help.

Try deleting all the *.cache files in the bulkdata folder. If you did a copy/paste type operation instead of downloading and installing the clients fresh all those cache files are "corupt" and your client won't start after the splash screan disap...
